KnownOrigin X Choose Love
KnownOrigin is proud to announce we are hosting a charity NFT auction with the refugee charity Choose Love. The funds raised will support Choose Love to provide support to refugees around the world. Choose Love has reached one million refugees, providing vital support at every stage along the migration routes from Europe to the Middle East and along the US-Mexico border. It works in 22 countries to support refugees and has supported 300 projects.
Over 20 artists are taking part in the Choose Love charity NFT auction which is being hosted on KnownOrigin on December 16th 2021. All artists taking part have created original artwork for the auction, these NFTs carry deep emotion and together the collection makes a huge impact. Artists are generously donating the profits from the auction to Choose Love, with many being involved with multiple charity fundraisers in the past through NFTs.

We are proud to be the platform hosting this auction with Choose Love, and because of this we are donating two thirds of our fees directly back to the charity. You can browse all NFTs being auctioned on the Choose Love KnownOrigin profile.
To buy something from the NFT auction you will need a ready topped up wallet with Ethereum, you can find how to create this easily here using MetaMask. We recommend MetaMask as it is very safe and user friendly, it is compatible with the majority of Ethereum based platforms.
Many of the 1/1 edition NFTs include unlockable content, you can find more info on how this works here. This unlockable content includes vouchers for the owner to personally pick items to donate to the charity and send to refugees. These items include basic necessities such as hot meals and warm clothing.
This project has also brought new talent to KnownOrigin, onboarding artists to the platform such as Malihazart who does great work aiding mental health awareness and promoting women's rights. We are proud to be a community lead platform who supports charitable causes and we do our most to help promote and fundraise these causes.
