What got you in to Crypto art?

About 14 days ago I got into known origin when a friend of mine told me to get into NFTs. I had no idea what they were but jumped in. I can't believe I've already sold over 60 NFTs in such a short amount of time. I feel like I was made for this world.

Where do you find your inspiration?

Books, music, friends, family - I'm always keeping my eyes open for what speaks to me. But most of all it's a connection to source that allows me to create from the ether. I download most of my world. I know it sounds crazy. It's true.

What do you think of traditional artwork?

I love traditional work. I love creating it and sharing it. And now I'll be sharing them as NFTs.

Do you think your art is fulfilling a purpose?

Art shares what is. It's an expression of love and source where others might have missed it. Our responsibility as artists is to capture these mystical experiences and share it with the world so they can also see!

How did you start out as an artist?

I started as a designer in the advertising world. I started and ran my own branding agency for 20 years before I decided to become a painter full time in 2015. The transition was difficult, but worth it. I have created some of the worlds greatest brands and yet there's nothing like delivering a painting to a collector.

Who or what inspires your work?

There are so many but I've always been moved by Basquiat and Picasso. Not just by their work, but by their unrelenting energy.

Which other artist(s) do you admire?

I truly admire any artist that's working on their craft daily.

Final question, what’s next for you as an artist?

I'm so excited to start creating new collections that include music, animation and more that can be shared on KnownOrigin as NFTs. My world changed 14 days ago and I'm not looking back.
