Theo Gould is a London-born, Lisbon-based photographer who began shooting in Colombia in 2015. He taught himself how to use a camera as a means to communicate with people whose language he could not speak. This earned him a diploma in photojournalism at the Instituto Henry Agudelo in Medellín, Colombia. Via his human-centric style, he explores what it means to be black in Western society. Over the last few years, his works have been exhibited at various museums in the U.K., Portugal, Switzerland and Colombia.
