Live conversation with digital artist Gabriel Rud
Behind the Screens is a live talk series in collaboration between the digital art platform KnownOrigin and MoCDA, the Museum of Contemporary Digital Art.
About Gabriel Rud: Specialist in Logic and Technique of Form and Image and Sound Designer (UBA). He works as an adjunct professor of the Audiovisual Project and Photography subjects at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism of the University of Buenos Aires. He is a researcher for the projectidis.org(Research in Image and Sound Design). He obtained several awards and scholarships, among which the National Arts Fund Scholarship in the Audiovisual Media specialty (2015) and the First Acquisition Prize of the National Hall in the category of new supports and installations (2013) stand out. His work has been exhibited in numerous institutions and events in Argentina and abroad, such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Castagnino Museum in Rosario, the Palais de Glace, the Emilio Caraffa Museum in Córdoba, the San Martín Cultural Center, Metropolitan Art Preview (Germany), La Caixa Forum (Spain) and the Carrillo Gil Art Museum (Mexico), Qorikancha Temple (Peru), among others. Lives and works in Buenos Aires.
